According to the legislation in force, the waiver of the purchase of a product is applicable only to individual customers.
The consumer has the right to notify the trader in writing that he renounces the purchase, without penalties and without invoking a reason, but only for products that can be put back on sale (sunglasses, eyeglass frames, cloths and accessories non-hygiene glasses) . Personalized products or hygiene products cannot be returned (personalized eyeglasses, custom aerial lenses, contact lenses, contact lens care solution, contact lens accessories).
The returned product must be in the same condition in which it was offered (in the original packaging, with all original accessories and labels, as well as the accompanying documents). Reimbursement of the amount is made only to the IBAN account of the client specified in the return form.
Return of parcels with cash on delivery is not accepted.
All returned products must be:

accompanied by the return form completed and signed by the customer

If the product is returned in a condition where it can no longer be sold as new, we reserve the right to charge a fee for returning it to its original condition (if possible) or to cover the price difference resulting from the sale of the product as a second. -hand.

The warranty period provided for each product, if used properly, according to the manufacturer’s instructions, is 12 months.
OPTICON offers warranty certificates for the products sold, these being offered at the time of purchase, together with the tax receipt / tax invoice and the ordered products. The warranty conditions are in accordance with Law 449/2003 and O.G. 21/1992. When requesting the warranty, it is necessary to present the defective product in the original packaging, together with the related accessories, copy of the tax receipt / tax invoice and the original warranty certificate – all must be presented in the store where the products were purchased. If these documents are missing, OPTICON may refuse to grant a guarantee.
If the product has manufacturing defects or technical problems of manufacture, the product must be returned for technical expertise together with the original packaging and a form specifying the problem found when this defect is found.
OPTICON records the defects covered by the warranty in the annex to the warranty certificate. Defective products or parts will be replaced under warranty, at no additional cost if it is found that the defects are from the factory.
The following situations void the warranty:
the user does not present all the required documents;
interventions or repairs performed on the product by companies and unauthorized persons lead to damage or destruction of the product;
inconsistency between the product and the characteristics entered in the warranty certificate issued after the time of sale;
changing the original condition of the product.
The following defects are not covered by the warranty:
defects caused by scratches, deformations, cracks, partial or total destruction;
defects generated by the non-compliance by the buyer / user of the conditions of handling, transport, storage and use of the product provided in the terms and conditions on the site;
defects of any kind of the product due to fires, accidents, blows, vibrations.

Consumer information and the right to withdraw from distance and off-premises contracts –
ARTICLE 16 Exemptions from the right of withdrawal
They are exempted from the right of withdrawal provided in art. 9-15 as regards distance and off-premises contracts the following:
a) service contracts, after the full provision of the services, if the performance started with the express prior consent of the consumer and after he has confirmed that he has become aware that he will lose his right of withdrawal after the full execution of the contract by professional;
b) the supply of products or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market which the professional cannot control and which may take place during the withdrawal period;
c) the supply of products made to the specifications presented by the consumer or clearly customized;
d) the supply of products that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
e) the supply of sealed products which cannot be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene and which have been unsealed by the consumer;
f) the supply of products which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other elements;
g) the supply of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed at the time of concluding the sales contract, whose delivery cannot be made before 30 days and whose real value depends on market fluctuations that the professional cannot control;
h) contracts in which the consumer has specifically requested the professional to travel to his home to carry out urgent repair or maintenance work. If, during such a visit, the professional provides services other than those expressly requested by the consumer or supplies products other than spare parts necessary for the performance of maintenance or repair work, the right of withdrawal applies to those services or additional products. ;
i) providing sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer programs that have been unsealed after delivery;
j) the supply of newspapers, periodicals and magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts for the supply of such publications;
k) contracts concluded within a tender;
l) the provision of accommodation services, for a purpose other than residential, transport of goods, car rental, catering or services related to leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period of execution;
m) the provision of digital content that is not delivered on a material medium, if the provision began with the prior express consent of the consumer and after he has confirmed that he has become aware that he will lose his right of withdrawal.
